THE ASSIGNMENT ::
What made you LAUGH, FIGHT + RISK today?

Standing at only 5'3", this small but mighty girl was the reigning champion of her high school pie eating contest! Last month, Austin dove in face first to defend her title, and here was her response:

Today I had the chance to LAUGH, FIGHT + RISK when I entered the pie eating contest at my school! I was the ONLY girl to enter and by far the smallest, so I RISKed losing to a handful of hungry high school boys.

However, I chose to FIGHT them for the pie eating champion title anyway. When the contest started, I immediately slammed my face into the pie, ferociously gulping it down.

I looked up for a moment to see all my friends and the yearbook staff bombarding us with pictures! Seeing the messy pictures after the competition made me LAUGH.

Even though I came in 2nd instead of 1st, I had an incredible time participating. What's not to like about free pie?"
