SEATTLE, WA :: MK Geratowski has just returned to the XTEAM coaching staff after a year coaching DI. Settled into her new role as Assistant Coach at Washington & Lee, MK lept at the chance to do a clinic in Seattle + was psyched to be able to connect with 2 XTEAMers while she was there! In her words:

Wow, what a whirlwind trip! Where do I begin … oh, right – Williamsburg, VA! From Williamsburg, Va, I drove to Richmond, VA, where I took a plane all the way across the US of A and to the West Coast and landed in Seattle, WA. There I drove to Sammamish, WA to work a clinic – representing XTEAM alongside one of BOUNCE's partners, WomensLax.com.

The clinic was held at Eastside Catholic High School on an amazing sun-filled day in the famously rainy town outside of Seattle! I had some Starbucks and then joined fellow travelers and members of the USC staff including Devon Wills, Hilary Bowen + Regan Bosch as we readied to start the clinic.. Seattle native Catherine Rodriguez, a 2011 graduate of Syracuse University, rounded out our fabulous coaching team!

Seattle – Mercer Island, Snohomish, Sammamisch, etc – is an awesome developing area for girl’s lacrosse. For the clinic, we had 50+ Washington girl laxers come out for the 6 hour, lax-filled day-o-fun! Everyone from our newbie 5th graders up to the 2013 players showing their stuff had a great day + left with some new skills and surely some smiles to accompany them!
